Privacy notice
Effective: 5 November 2026. This notice applies to the Christmas greeting experience at christmas.privacyneedle.com.
Names and greetings
You can enter a recipient name, a sender name and a short personal message. The browser encodes this information in the share link. A person with that link can read it. Do not enter passwords, addresses, account numbers, confidential work information, or anything you would not want forwarded.
The greeting generator does not require registration, request an email address, or save your greeting in a Privacy Needle application database. When a shared link is opened, the link is processed on Cloudflare infrastructure to display the greeting and a matching social preview. Web-server and security logs, browser history, and any app through which you share the link may retain URL data under their own practices. Personalised links are marked not for search indexing, but that does not make them secret or access-controlled.
Advertising and third parties
Public pages may show advertisements from Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, IP address, browser information and cookies or similar technologies, according to their policies and choices presented to you. We do not place AdSense code on the personalised greeting landing page. Learn more at Google's advertising privacy information.
Where required, consent choices should be presented through a Google-certified consent management platform configured in the AdSense account. Do not assume advertising is cookie-free or fully anonymous.
Sharing and external platforms
WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, email apps and your device's sharing menu are separate services. Sharing opens the service you select and does not silently send a message or upload your contacts to Privacy Needle. Their privacy and account policies govern what they do with information you send.
Local interactions
The Christmas kindness bingo and wish rotation work in your open browser page. Your selections are not submitted to the greeting site. Reloading the page resets the bingo.
Your choices
Leave the sender and recipient fields blank if you prefer. Close the page to stop using the generator. You can remove a greeting link from a conversation you control, but it may already have been copied or forwarded elsewhere.
